FIELD TRIPS

Youth Champion student cohorts gather together six times throughout the year in-person for team-building retreats as well as career exploration field trips designed to expand their horizons and begin to identify their strengths and interests. Excursions include visits to healthcare facilities, veterinary clinics, communications and marketing panel discussions, STEM career explorations, movie studios tour, career networking panel, tours of local government offices, trade career day, among many others. Adventure Days are interactive experiences modeled after corporate team building and leadership retreats, helping students to overcome fear and harness their internal strength. SUMMER BOOK CLUB

Looking for a way to grow with like-minded peers over summer? Our book club reads several short books and typically meets 4–5 times throughout summer.

Just like our internship, participants get paid based on their investment in the experience. Students dive into sharpening their skills and character with books that allow them to reflect on their own behavior and habits. It’s not just about the books; it’s about the connections they make and the ideas they exchange with the facilitators and their peers.
