Alumni Volunteer Opportunities
Join our passionate community of alumni volunteers and continue making a positive impact on the lives of youth through Youth Champions.
Explore the following ways to get involved:
- Chaperoning Field Trips: Become a chaperone for our exciting field trips and provide guidance and support to our students. Help create memorable experiences and ensure their safety while exploring new places and learning outside the classroom.
- Tell Your Story: Get involved by being interviewed and telling your story to current and prospective students. If you’re also interested in a social media takeover day to showcase your college campus or life post-high school, we’d love to have you!
- Mentoring YC Students through the College Application Process: Support our students as they navigate the college application process. Become a mentor and offer guidance, advice, and assistance in crafting compelling personal statements and applications. Help them unlock their potential and pursue higher education.
- Create Content for Alumni Newsletters: Share your inspiring stories, achievements, and updates with our alumni community. Contribute articles, success stories, or tips and advice for current students through our alumni newsletters. Help keep our community connected and informed.
- Review Applications to our Program: As an alumni volunteer, you can play a crucial role in shaping the next cohort of Youth Champions participants. Join our application review team and provide valuable insights and feedback on prospective students' applications. Help us select motivated and deserving individuals who will benefit from our program.
Alumni Ambassador Program
Our alumni are the heart and soul of Youth Champions, and we believe in keeping our community connected after high school graduation. On select college campuses, we are looking for alumni ambassadors to support YC alumni pursuing higher education.
As an ambassador, you will engage with fellow YC alumni, organize events, and create opportunities to connect and celebrate successes throughout the year. You will also have the opportunity to give tours to prospective students, sharing your YC journey and experiences to inspire the next generation of participants.
