Michelle Durand

Michelle Durand is a seasoned financial and operations expert with a decade of experience in analytics and process optimization.  With a broad background in finance, retail, and consulting, her work is hallmarked by a passion for excellence and unwavering commitment to data-driven decisions.  Beyond her professional experience, she has engaged meaningfully in her community through volunteering and participating in the management and media strategy of multiple nonprofit organizations. Michelle earned her bachelor degrees in Business and English from University of California, Berkeley.

Although born and raised in the Greater Los Angeles area, Michelle is a lifelong learner and an avid explorer of uncharted paths. This spirit of adventure and curiosity extends to every facet of her life, including her penchant for nomadic living across the globe. Her diverse experiences and exposure to different cultures have enriched her perspective and fueled her drive to push boundaries and see paths beyond the roads already paved.  She is dedicated to empowering students to envision a future beyond their current horizons, encouraging them to reach for dreams they may never have considered.  She’s excited to partner with Youth Champions to inspire students to embrace possibilities that transcend their wildest imaginings.
