Michael Dolphin
Michael Dolphin, now retired, was formerly the Division Chief, Los Angeles – Ventura Workforce Services Division, of the State of California’s Employment Development Department. He has over 40 years of experience in workforce and economic development. Mr. Dolphin has served on a large number of advisory and management boards, including the Los Angeles City and the Los Angeles County Workforce Investment Boards. On those two boards, he led a Regional Collaboration across both Los Angeles and Ventura Counties to blend and meld their State-funded workforce operations into return-to-work veteran programs.
Today, he continues to serve on the boards of UNITE-LA School to Career Consortium, The Friends of Steve McQueen, and as a partner in the Central Avenue Jazz Festival. He currently also serves on task forces to the Chancellor of California Community Colleges and the City of Los Angeles Workforce Development Planning.
