Entrepreneur and Real Estate Investor

J Martin is an entrepreneur, real estate investor, world traveler, and proud volunteer of Youth Champions!

After making many poor decisions in and after high school, he spent time in jail at 19 for a felony and started washing windows and checking oil at a 76 Gas Station before an inspirational tip from a thankful customer: “No matter what happens, no one can take away what you learn.” This moment ultimately kicked off a lifetime of increased personal development and growth and a first-time focus on long-term growth, vision, and goals.

J went back to school, got a steady job in bank regulation with the State of California, then began investing in real estate in 2012, started a networking event, conference, and other related real estate ventures. He quit his job at 31yo to be a full-time entrepreneur remotely, while traveling the world. He hired a team to run his businesses while traveling to over 50 countries, including most of Asia, and has shared his experiences with thousands of conference and networking attendees over the years. He recently launched a business incubator to help small organizations better achieve their mission and goals, including utilizing Artificial Intelligence and ChatGPT. J also enjoys traveling, riding motorcycles, and spending time with important people in his life. 

He first volunteered to facilitate the Summer Book Club discussions with prior Youth Champion graduates and noted how amazed he was by how personally and professionally developed the students were, their drive, and their passion for personal growth. J shared how valuable Youth Champions would have been when he was in high school and onwards, to avoid some of those poor choices, and progress on a successful path more quickly. He’s excited to make an impact on our Students as a Facilitator for the 2024/2025 school year!
